Carmel Pine Cone – Fall Flavors at Terry’s

Terry's Restaurant + Lounge Fall Flavors - Butternut Squash Ravioli With Diced Roasted Butternut Squash, Pecans, and Sage Butter Cream Sauce

Terry’s Restaurant + Lounge at the historic Cypress Inn was recently featured in The Carmel Pine Cone, highlighting the restaurant’s new fall dessert offerings.

The feature noted the seasonal debut of two handcrafted desserts inspired by autumn’s abundance of pumpkins and winter squash: a butternut pumpkin crème brûlée and a pumpkin brioche bread pudding. Both are now available on the menu, with additional fall dishes like butternut ravioli and butternut arugula salad also now available to enjoy at Terry’s.

The crème brûlée is infused with a smooth blend of roasted butternut squash and pumpkin, topped with caramelized sugar and finished with fresh whipped cream. The bread pudding is made with rich brioche, enhanced with warm pumpkin flavors, and served with vanilla bean gelato. The butternut arugula salad is a bright mix of roasted butternut squash, organic arugula, candied pecans, feta, and a honey lemon dressing. The butternut squash ravioli is stuffed with roasted squash and pecans and finished in a sage butter cream sauce.

The fall release follows a recent update to the restaurant’s well-known dog-friendly bar, part of a continued evolution of the space. The timing also marks the passing of longtime Cypress Inn proprietor Denny LeVett, whose legacy remains deeply rooted in the Inn’s charm and character. Located at Lincoln and Seventh in Carmel-by-the-Sea, the Cypress Inn remains a local landmark.
