I chose this inn because of the historical connection to Doris Day and the pet-friendliness. But I found it to be an utterly lovely place to be.
We reserved two rooms, 2 nights for a family celebration in July. The Cypress Inn did not disappoint. The staff (All) were outstanding, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. The hotel is lovely with patios & gardens tucked away in quiet corners.
Terry’s at the Cypress Inn is everything you want in a brunch spot—delicious food, live jazz that sets the mood just right, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. The jazz brunch is a must. Bonus points for being super dog-friendly (yes, there’s a dog menu!) which makes the whole experience even more fun. It’s the kind of place you come back to every time you’re in town.
Best dinner experience we had in Carmel. Outdoor dinning is so perfect at night with the lights. All the cute dogs are fun to see.
